Job Summary
This position reports to Global Category Manager in sourcing for facility and service area. The candidate will be mainly responsible for sourcing of factory civil engineering projects and/or property leasing and/or direct labor outsourcing projects. The business scope is mainly within mainland China but will also be extended to global environment. The candidate is required to develop, implement and measure a global commodity strategy for indirect purchase (mainly service commodity) that fully meets the supply chain needs of our business units.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Develop and execute commodity sourcing strategy for local, regional and global initiatives for in factory production environment.

- Enable suppliers materials center establishment, transactions optimization and daily Suppliers management. Co-work with global team in Singapore and Malaysia for global transactions. To provide better knowledge gathering and expertise leveraging, they will report to categories teams based on their own suppliers set.

- Analyze market conditions for assigned commodities and implement supply chain strategies to assure supply and price competitiveness

- Develop commodity plan to provide visibility to subcategory spends, supplier summaries and stakeholder engagement plans.

- Develop the supply base to exceed the goals and objectives of the company and the supply chain management team, e.g. supplier development and assessment

- Negotiate Supplier Price/Contracts, conduct and follow online bidding process.

- Be a central interface between supplier, administration, production, finance, SQE, legal and buyers etc.
- Develop a cost modeling tool to determine true component value of assigned commodity(s)

- Develop and implement supplier relationship management program
- Develop effective relationships with Business Unit Management to ensure that Supply Chain Management is fully involved with new business opportunities

Education & Experience Requirements

- Bachelor’s degree in Electronics, Engineering, Business, or Supply Chain Management or other relevant discipline preferred

- Minimum of 2 years’ strategic sourcing experience for services or indirect procurement categories in a high-volume electronics manufacturing environment or similar. Procurement project management skills preferred.

- Strong communication skills and negotiation skills

- Strong analytical, problem solving and decision-making skills

- Able and willing to travel across China and/or internationally if required

- Languages: Mandarin and Good English skills, both in verbal and written

- Computer literate and have good working experience in Excel, PowerPoint, Word, etc.
