Responsibilities:

1. Lead solid pigment dispersion/tint line development for waterborne auto refinish coatings 1.1 Build lab platform and production facilities for waterborne solid pigment dispersion/tint in group 1.2 Design solid tint portfolio in line with inputs from group color matching team and marketing team 1.3 Plan, design dispersion formulation and process, tint formulation, and analyze experimental data on daily basis 1.4 Coordinate with product technical team for technical verification and paint application 2. Lead metallic tint line development for waterborne auto refinish coatings 2.1 Establish metallic pigment toolbox and implement plan for auto refinish coatings 2.2 Plan, design metallic tint formulation, process, and analyze experimental data on daily basis 2.3 Work closely with product technical team for metallic paint application and improvement 3. Drive new tint line and auto refinish product line implementation across NIPSEA group 3.1 Make implementation plan and strategy with the comprehensive communications with each region 3.2 Execute implementation strategy with product technical team, color matching team and marketing team in each region 3.3 Guide and provide required training for tint applications in NIPSEA group, and actively involve technical problem solving 3.4 Execute industrial analysis and competitors' analysis, and stay updated with current developments on auto refinish dispersion/tint 4. QHSE 4.1 Execute internal QHSE to ensure safe lab work 4.2 Actively participate in safety training

Reqirements:

1.Master or Ph.D degree of Science or Technology. Perferably in Polymer Chemistry/ Polymer Physics/ Chemicals.

2. 5 years above in the field of coating technology development, preferrable in auto refinish coating. At least 2 years in pigment dispersion/qualification and/or pigment technology.

3. Sophisticated knowledge on waterborne coating formulation, application and and the relevent raw materials. Knowledge in pigment dispersion formulation, process. DOE is preferrable.

4. Ability to lead projects independently and good sense on project/time management.
