Primary Responsibilities

1.   Assist Director Technology Strategy & Planning to drive development and execution of technology strategy and planning that are aligned with overall Group business objectives and strategies.

2. Lead multi-years major Transformation initiatives involving interaction with and presentation to cross-functional senior management, setting and driving goals, performing analysis and developing implementation plans. 

3. Conduct regular analysis on relevant technology and product trends among markets and competitors, and provide recommendation to senior management.

4. Drive and contribute to Group Technology budget, Capex and facility planning. Consolidate & analyze and improve Technology operating performance and key metrics.

5. Organize Technology Leadership Council meetings and Group Technology execution reviews for senior management.

6. Support and contribute to senior management internal and external communication, CTO / Group presentation material.

    

Qualification

1.  Ph.D degree in chemistry, or materials science.

2. Management role with 5+ years chemical industry experience.

3. Minimum 3-years strategic and planning experience.

4. Strong analytical, organization and communication skills (verbal, written & presentation skills).

5. Self-starter, quick learner and results oriented. Ability to manage multiple tasks and deal with ambiguity.

6. Excellent skills in using Excel and PowerPoint.

7. Fluent in both Chinese and English.

8. Domestic and international travels required.
