Position: Technical Assistant

Report to: TSM
AS Zone Sr. Manager

Location: Shanghai,Pudong

Description of Position:

Technology Standardization Management (TSM) provides up-to-date component and material offers with expertise for Schneider Design, Continuous Engineering, Manufacturing and Purchasing globally. The Technical Assistant will join the TSM organization (Asia Pacific Region) Business Support Team, the technical assistant will work closely with Technology Standardization Engineers (TSE) in standardization project, technical data collection & analysis & maintenance etc. activities in electronics & electromechanical technology domain.

The technical assistant will have opportunity to develop technical expertise in different component technology families and accumulate technical knowledge to grow up as TSE.

Responsibilities:

Participate component technology standardization project to work on technical data collection, analysis, preparation etc.to support TSE.

Provide technical assistance to TSE on massive data collection, technical parameter data preparation etc.

As author in database to create & maintain data under TSE’s supervisor

Other possible misc. component technology related tasks.

Requirements:

College/University Educational Background on Electronics Engineering; Fresh graduate or less than 3 years experienced.

Good knowledge on different electronics component technology, competent to read technical datasheet, understand technical parameters and theory of operation. Knowledge on electronics manufacturers is a plus.

Proficiency in Excel (Basic Operation, Function etc.)

Good interpersonal skill & communications skills; Good written English;
Good oral English is a strong plus
