Position: Assistant Finance Manager, Business Partner
Sector: Consumer Medical Device
Location: Shanghai
Part A: Overall Responsibility
Primarily responsible for managing all financial related aspects of BU/BUs by providing expert advice and support in all BU related business decisions. The position ensures that BU activities are aligned with the management’s financial objectives through active involvement in business processes and project teams.
Part B: Principal Responsibilities
? Prepare and analyze BU P&L for actual reporting, business planning, strategic planning, and latest estimates.
? Prepare financial analysis on major BU activities such as channel structure, new product introductions, pricing strategies, retail promotion scheme and other related activities.
? Monitor month end closing and ensure fair statement of Sales, A&P, inventory and other BU related items.
? Provide sound financial advice to the BU Head and Managers on key BU decisions using factual and accurate financial analysis.
? Ensure key BU financial ratios are properly controlled and monitored vs targets, alert BU Management of any deviations/risks on a timely basis, and recommend the necessary action steps.
? Participate in the BU Business and Strategic Planning activities – sales and marketing meeting, strategic workshop and etc.-- and provide sound recommendation on key financial commitment numbers.
? Perform financial benchmark analysis with key competitors and continuously seek optimization opportunity to improve profitability.
Job Qualifications:
? Education: Graduate of a four-year course from a reputable school preferably with excellent academic background. CPA preferred.
? Professional Experience: 4-5 years’ experience in major aspects of financial management, with big four and FMCG/retail industry experience preferred.
? Knowledge and Skills: Excellent interpersonal and leadership skills. Team player and can work under pressure. Flexibility to manage different stakeholders from cross function team both in China and Regional management team.
