SUMMARY
Responsible for carrying out tax compliances, Tax accounting functions and special projects.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
? Handle the tax rebate for export , both include the general export and the processing imported materials handbook.
? Participate in the timely and accurate preparation of all federal and state income tax returns and other specified tax returns. Errors may impact company profits through penalties and interest charges or through audit adjustments by taxing authorities.
? Improve processes by identifying efficiency in preparation and information gathering procedures.
? Verify accuracy and makes recommendations for corrections.
? Perform tax research for return items and special projects.
? Seek ways to identify tax savings opportunities and work with others, where applicable, to implement those strategies approved by senior management.
? Training other employees both within and outside the department.
? Collect data and prepare reports on company tax.
? Comply and follow all procedures within the company security policy.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
3 to 5 years of tax related experience. Basic understanding of GAAP required. Experience for tax rebate of export is required. Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance or business related field.
LANGUAGE SKILLS
Advanced PC skills, including training and knowledge of Jabil’s software packages. Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs
REASONING ABILITY
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but un-involved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. Individual may be required to sit or stand for extended periods of time and occasionally lift up to 15 lbs. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision using PC monitor, and reading of a variety of materials.
WORK ENVIRONMENT
The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job. Individual’s primary workstation is located in the office area. Noise level in employee’s primary workstation is usually low to moderate.
