SUMMARY
Procures production and MRO materials necessary for the operation of the business.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
? Develops Supply base and Supply Chain strategies.
? Quotes new and existing materials.
? Selects suppliers based on overall cost and benefit.
? Negotiates Pricing, Terms, and agreements that are specific or strategic to the Business Unit.
? Optimizes overall cost of materials.
? Implements Supply Chain strategies.
? Ensures execution of Jabil pricing and terms & conditions agreements for both Jabil-strategic and non-strategic commodities.
? Serves as primary point of contact to suppliers in regards to pricing, strategies and expectations.
? Provides support to Materials Planners in executing their job responsibilities.
REQUIREMENTS:
? Bachelor's degree in Materials Logistics or Business Management preferred
? 2 to 3 years in relevant Jabil position or equivalent external work experience
? Advanced PC skills
? Strong negotiation, communication and analytical skills
? APICS or NAPM certification preferred
