Position Summary

As a Support Engineer in this position, you will mainly work with customer related problems and also be involved in prodcut verification and maintenance, product and support documentation. We are looking for a person with strong technical background (technology and product) and strong customer focus mindset.

Responsibilities & Tasks:

· Handle customer solution request (CSR) as part of the Tier2 team with Kanban ways of working

. Particiate 24/7 emergency support with the team

. Customer problem reproduction; drives for solution/remedy finding; Provide RCA on customer issues.

· Contribute to and drive Continuous Improvements of Products and Processes

· Knowledge Sharing and Collaboration Skills

Position Qualification

Core Competences

· Solid Product Development (design and/or verifiction) experience. Exprience on maintenance and/or support is preferrable.

. Strong technical background and proven experience on packet transport area is a must (Carrier Ethernet, MPLS-TP packet transmisstion technologies); Good understanding of Mobile backhaul solution, L2/L3 protocal/technologies (ERP, MPLS-TP, STP, OSPF, MEF, OAM, QoS, Synchronization, etc.)

. Hands-on experience on at least on areas of the following is a must: SDH/SONET, OTN, WDM

. Product experience on E/// OM products (SPO, OMS) is strongly preferrable.

· Product Life Cycle Management Knowledge

· Working with People, good team worker

· Delivering Results and Meeting Customer Expectations and operational KPIs

· Strong Communication and language skills is a must(English, written and oral). Able to interact with external and internal stakeholders.
