Responsibilities:
·Work as a Principal Strategy Consultant for Transport Automotive for Ericsson Globally
·Define and drive Strategy Consulting related activities within Transport Automotive
·Deliver superior value and thought leadership in business, technology, and operations related issues for Transport Automotive
·Lead the engagement team and support the Key Account Manager team to grow beyond the current Transport Automotive business globally
·Translate customer needs within Transport Automotive to tangible Ericsson propositions
·Model customer scenarios based on strategy related issues, including financial analysis, business model analysis, and investment risk analysis
·Prioritize activities, identify and plan for resources needed
·Actively contribute to Knowledge and Competence Management activities within Transport Automotive to ensure best practice sharing, knowledge/experience transfer, and reuse
·Actively contribute to Engagement Marketing & Intelligence activities to assure accurate and up-to-date info for Transport Automotive related customer engagement activities
Team resp. Individual Targets
·The team targets will be set focusing on achieving the global and RCNA targets for Transport Automotive.
·The individual targets will be set focusing on positioning and achievements within strategy consulting for Transport Automotive and establishing competence and capabilities required for Transport Automotive customer engagement activities.
Qualifications
General Requirements
Proven track record of achieving results in professional services business
Solid experience from customer facing roles and well experienced in client management
Solid understanding of trends within ICT for Industry Verticals, in particular related to Transport, Utility, Government, Health Care, Education, and Finance
Deep insights about ICT vendors, Operators, Consulting Firms, and Analyst
Very good understanding of Industry Economics
Sales driven
Well experienced in problem solving, conflict management, financial analysis, project/program management, client management, and team working
Excellent skills in project/program management, consulting, leadership, and team working
Prepared to travel
University degree in Economics, Business, or Engineering
Fluency in English and preferably Mandarin, Japanese, or Korean also
Industry Specific Requirements
·Experience from automotive-OEM (primary cars and preferably trucks also) products and portfolio management, or business development and operations at Automotive 1st tier telematic resp. audio suppliers, or service provisioning and operations at a global telematic service provider, or service delivery to cars and trucks
·Deep experience from after market value chains
·Experience from top automotive M2M player (e.g. BMW, Continental, or alike) or consulting companies
·Experience from companies such as Wireless Car, Octo Telematics or alike
