职位描述
We're looking to hire a results oriented technical manager with proven track record in managing technology and operations teams.This individual is first member of database support group who will build a team of database specialists in China responsible for support of very large MySQL database infrastructure (hundreds of servers, thousands of databases) as part of a globally distributed team. You will be expected to make key technical decisions that routinely affect how our web sites perform.
Required Skills/Experience
* Background in strategic planning, project management, staffing and employee relations
* Significant hands on experience managing complex production database systems, preferably at a large consumer-facing Internet site
* 2+ years of experience managing a team of DBAs and/or database architects
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills. The ability to work with a diverse group of co-workers, internal customers is a must
* Demonstrable expertise with MySQL: Server tuning, Query optimization, Replication strategies, Storage engines, Monitoring, Capacity planning, Backup, HA, etc
