Role and objectives

l Sample development

n Go through the trends with designer, understand the idea.

n Base on the trends pick out suitable offer samples for designer.

n Review the design sketch to ensure the details is correct and workable in production. Check the fabric quality and accessories make sure they’re suitable for the style.

n Review the sales samples together with designer and technician record the comments.

n Prepare for sales meeting. Key in the information into ERP system; make sales book.

• Bulk production
• Go through sales samples with design team, record the comments about any improvement like quality, color, style, and give your comments for some improvements.
• Check quotation sheet and bargain with supplier base on target price.
• Place order to supplier.
• Check the updated design sketch and handover to supplier to arrange fitting samples. Inform supplier of any potential problem might happen during production base on your own experience if necessary.
• Check test standard with ECT and inform supplier to follow.
• Check and give comments about the color and quality of the bulk fabric, accessories.
• Check the fitting sample, preproduction sample and shipment sample with technician, give comment about pattern, workmanship etc.
• Follow up production status. Ensure production start after sample confirmed and all tests passed. Check output weekly. Go to factory for inline inspection if necessary. Push supplier deliver bulk on time.
• Focus on inspection result makes sure the bulk could bwe in store on time.
• Arrange payment for supplier.
• Keep an eye on the sales report. Aware if any style sales good and suitable for repeat. Pay attention to those sales not good, analyses the reason and give your suggestion.
• Analyses the reason about customer complain, reject unreasonable complain reasonably, coordinate with supplier for garment repairmen. If any repairmen happened find out the reasons and avoid the problem happen again in future production.
