Reports to: Plant Manager
Location: Shanghai
Direct reports: Shift Leader, Production Planner

Works with: Process Engineering, Logistics, Quality in Plant and other functions related in Asia, in the US and in Europe

Key Responsibilities:
1. In charge of whole production team including safety, quality, delivery and cost to meet company assigned requirements on KPIs and support business rapid grows
2. Set and define the high standards to the team to build operation excellence
3. Daily monitor workshops production status and develop tracking process to ensure delivery according to delivery plan;
4. Closely work with logistics team to understand the customer order status and lead the preparation of manpower plan; monitor workshops production daily result (including productivity, efficiency, on time delivery, scrap...) in order to define production issues quickly by consideration of master production schedule, order emergency, machine capacity, tooling readiness, human resource, material availability
5. Responsible of the safety of people and equipment on floor, making sure safety procedure are applied including government regulations and company guidance.
6. Implement manufacturing quality target and monitor the workshop quality status; involve quality issue's analysis and improvement, implement the related action plan; supervise and monitor production process against production plan; monitor emergency solving process in order to ensure smooth production and meet quality targets.
7. Manage the process control, ensure employees follow quality procedures and WIs to align with the requirements of ISO/TS16949, ISO1400 and customer’s requirements.
8. Implement process audit, quick respond to customer concerns and claims with solid execution on corrective and preventive action.
9. Ensure production team properly use existing equipment and tooling through sufficient training such as Orientation, OJT and AM training.
10. Work with engineering team to identify process improvement opportunities, implement process capability and continuous improvements.
11. Conduct safety and 5S program every day to ensure a safe and clear work place sustained
12. Seek process improvement opportunity and drive production efficiency and cost reduction
13. Develop, optimize work flow and procedures and standards
14. Improve workforce utilization efficiency, control direct labors’ overtime with the required range, assess employee monthly performance
15. Plan and forecast production capacity, work with process, HR to make capacity planning on equipment, tooling and human resources to meet customers’ requirements and support business development.
16. Make department training plan and provide leadership training and support to sub-workshop employees; monitor and implement the company discipline policy; resolve people/functional issues in the workshop in order to improve effectiveness and achieve targeted department performance.
17. Support new product program on sample making, audit etc.
18. Review and provide timely performance feedback and appraisal to subordinates; mentor, train, develop and motivate subordinates;
19. Introduce new skills and technologies to workshop team
20. Others while required.

Requirements:
1. Minimum of Bachelor Degree, major in Engineering or Management.
2. More than 8 years manufacturing working experience , at least 5 years of production manager role with multiple fabrication processes
3. Experience to manage 100+ team in WOFE environment
4. Deep LEAN manufacturing practice and process control knowledge.
5. Deep understanding on ISO/TS 16949, ISO14000 system
6. Understand of planning work and process
7. Extravert characteristic and result driven style
8. Good 5S knowledge and practice
9. Skill for develop subordinates and handle demotion issue
10. Familiar with MS office and has ERP experience, Oracle is preferred.
