Responsibilities:
1.Fulfill product management responsibilities in the areas of swine feeding and watering; including the proactive definition and ongoing management of all associated product requirements.
2.Lead and direct a staff of product development engineers and technical support personnel in the development and introduction of new products, as well as in the upgrade and maintenance of existing products.
3.Effectively interact and team with key marketing, sales, and technical personnel in the definition, rationalization, justification, and prioritization of product development and upgrade projects for domestic and international markets.
4.Effectively interact with other relevant personnel within the business unit and in other business units.
5.Effectively interact with customers, professional organizations, academia, and other industry experts.
6.Develop and utilize scientific approaches to innovative product development and testing methodologies, with a focus on reducing product development lead times.
7.Establish and manage product pricing to achieve targeted margin objectives.
8.Manage the Engineering Change Order process.
9.Generate, execute, and manage long-term product and budget planning.
10.Gather and evaluate field performance data on products, and support the development of effective sales tools.
11.Provide expert testimony and documentation regarding the effective use of products and systems.
12.Contribute technical articles to in-house publications and trade magazines.

Requirements:
1.A bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, with an advanced technical or management degree, preferably MSME or MBA.
2.At least 5 years of hands-on design engineering experience.
3.At least 5 years of experience managing products and technical personnel.
4.Strong technical background, with a track record in effective product and project management.
5.Working knowledge in rapid prototyping, development, and testing methodologies.
6.Proficiency with Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Project, AutoCAD, Pro-E, FEA/Pro-E Mechanica, Adobe Framemaker and an ERP system.
7.Strong written and verbal communication skills, and presentation skills.
8.Creative and forward-thinking mentality, with strong organizational skills and initiative.
9.Agri-business experience is required, with a preference for the poultry industry.
10.Experience in plastics design and injection molding is required.
11.Experience in fluid mechanics is desirable.
12.Willingness to travel domestically and internationally travel.
