Job Description

Position Title: ZJG Process Engineer
Report Line: ZJG PE Group Leader
Location: Zhang Jiagang, Jiangsu Province
Position Description:
1. Lead projects related to the technical evaluation and improvement of the Methyl basic train to make silicones supporting new technology development, sustainability, product flexibility and cost reduction goals within the Methyl product line
2. Identify problems in the process, data collection and analysis to determine root cause, and implement solutions.
3. Design, build and operate laboratory apparatus, analyze and report results, draw conclusions, make recommendations and provide commercial scale-up support
4. Serve as a technical consultant and help develop the long term direction of the Methyl product line's technology development
5. Interface and collaborate with global experts



Requirements:
？ Bachelor degree in Chemical Engineering. Master degree in Chemical Engineering is preferred but not required.
？ 8-15 yrs experience in chemical or petrochemical industry in manufacturing and process related role. Experience in continuous process is critical.
？ Background in unit operations such as burner technology; waste incineration and treatment is desired. Project leadership experience is a plus.
？ Lab- or pilot process experience with Design of Experiment (DOE) skill is important.
？ Self-starters and have the willingness to learn about new process technologies, work hands-on in lab, manufacturing environments and network with colleagues globally
？ Strong technical and problem solving, as well as, planning and organizing skills
？ Knowledge of Six Sigma, design of experiments and statistical analysis is also a plus
？ Proficient in English both written and oral
