Job Description
Position Title: Rubber Process Engineer
Report Line: Rubber PE Leader
Location: Zhang Jiagang, Jiangsu Province
Position Description:
Key Responsibilities, Process Engineering contributes to Dow Corning’s growth and profitability through responsible product and process innovation and continuous improvement across our businesses.
？ Transition a new product concept from the lab to commercial scale production
？ Develop new process technology to provide new capabilities for new or existing products
？ Conceptualization and validation of new ideas; increased understanding of process technology
？ Use 6-Sigma, DOE, and other tools while working closely with QE and MEs to troubleshoot and resolve product quality issues
Experience and Skills required,
？ 4 year degree in Chemical Engineer or Mechanical Engineer with 7+ years experience in chemical industry.
？ Communication skills with fluency in English and Chinese.
？ Ability to understand complex and a wide range of technology and simplify to implement practical solutions.
？ Balance time driven engineering work with discipline of meeting requirements for Safety, Environmental, Training, and other standards of performance, Desirable Requirements
？ Strong mechanical aptitude and desiring hands-on experience of working in lab, installing and running piloting processes, and designed detailed scope for manufacturing facility.
