The Import and Export Specialist assists the Sales, Marketing, Service and Operations team in customer related issues. He/she supports the order fulfillment and process with regard to all tasks relevant for customer communication, implementation of the logistics operation and logistics management like import and export handling, shipping documents preparation, coordination with external forwarder for import and export of products
岗位职责
Daily import and export operation
- Prepare import and export documents and assist Customs Bureau to implement Customs Clearance process
- Provide immediate assistance to Customs Bureau in abnormal case like issues from inspection
- Classify customs for products by following harmonized tariff code
- Participate in Customs or China Inspection Quarantine inspections as needed
Import and export permits
- Apply for appropriate import or export permits like outside China Compulsory Certificate, importation Automatic import license, assist China Inspection and Quarantine to implement CIQ certificate, Customs handbook of processing trade etc. if applicable
- Apply for Statement of End-User and End-Use if necessary
- Apply for Country of Origin for export order if requested
Internal/external communication between logistics supplier and purchaser
- Coordinate with international freight forwarders, Customs brokers, Warehouse and the third Party Logistic for timely and accurately clearance of Customs and deliveries through telephone communication, email and onsite support etc.
- Track goods shipments and updated information and feedback to internal customer
Recording document management
- Generate KPI reports to improve daily operational procedures
- Handle the customs duty and Value Added Tax through e-pay
- Prepare documents including duty bill and inform Finance for placing voucher and audit purpose
- Check and apply payment for logistics expenses on monthly basis
- Follow verification and support customs yearly audit processing trade handbook
Cooperation with courier or forwarder companies
- Work with international and domestic courier or forwarder company to deliver goods if necessary
Others
- Maintain HS (harmonized system) code in Dräger Customs Web Tool System
- Maintain Customs Information in SAP for One Time Order
- Maintain safe and healthy work environment by following standards and procedures; comply with all quality, safety, and work rules and regulations
- Other duties as assigned by supervisor / manager
任职要求
Bachelor degree in Logistics, International Trade, Business Administration or other related fields or a comparable combination of education and experience
2-3 years of experience in logistics,
1-2 years of experience with import & export and forwarder process is preferred
Professional
- Supply Chain knowledge in terms of logistics – advanced level
- MS Office – advanced level
- English in written, oral and read – advanced level
- Knowledge of import and export process – advanced level
- Knowledge of Harmonized Tariff Classification System (HTC) – advanced level

岗位职责
