Job Summary:
Our e-marketplace is looking for a creative leader to direct the marketing team. This leader will have dual roles – (i) develop and deliver strategic integrated campaigns in a 360 approach to drive business growth; (ii) oversee content management and deploy content strategy to acquire, retain and grow audience.
The ideal candidate will be highly strategic, analytical and performance-driven. He/she will be a visionary who is able to think creatively and move agilely to identify new opportunities in the dynamic, fast-paced, innovative fashion digital arena.
Job Responsibilities:
- Proven user acquisition expert in the online and mobile space
- Managed digital media spend of over 10 million RMB with proven ROI
- Proven experience as a lead media planner in a media agency/4A agency
- Review media agency’s media plans to ensure maximum cost, efficiency and results
- Ideally led digital marketing for an international brand or led ecommerce department for an international brand
- Subject matter expert in ASO, Paid Search, SEO, Display (DSP), Programmatic buying, retargeting, Affiliate marketing, Funnel optimization (Website and mobile), tracking and measuring methodologies..
- Establish KPIs/goals, create a best practices library, define guidelines and workflow;
- Discover and develop innovative business opportunities as the e-commerce market evolves and consumer behavior changes;
- Constantly explore new digital/mobile platforms to capture the newest trend of online consumer behavior;
- Provide business direction based on numbers, industry reports and customer insights;
- Lead media buying and planning initiatives
- Drive and develop creative campaigns by leveraging on advertising, events, promotion activity and third party management to engage customers, drive traffic and sales;
- Partner with Analytics and Customer Engagement teams to define customer segmentation and craft strategy to drive ongoing customers’ acquisition and retention campaigns;
- Analyze performance with measurable results such as source of online traffic, impact to brand awareness, effectiveness of driving online traffic and sales;
Job Requirements:
- University graduate with 7+ years of marketing experience in a retail environment; at least 3+ years in a senior marketing role; experience in ecommerce / fashion digital space is a strong plus;
- Have very strong commercial acumen as well as analytical skills;
- Have a deep understanding and genuine interest in the ecommerce market in China. Desire to work in a fast-paced and dynamic start-up environment;
- Have deep understanding of the Chinese customers’ needs;
- Have solid, full-scope digital marketing experience in delivering successful campaigns across all touch points;
- Have an existing and strong network with relevant agencies and key players in the ecommerce industry in China;
- Strong leadership to motivate and inspire team members at all levels.
