Job Title: Advanced Supplier Quality Engineer
Department: Quality
REPORTS TO: Advance Supplier Quality Manager, China
GENERAL DESCRIPTION:
ASQE is key member of the China Supplier Quality Team and the global ASQE network. The primary role of ASQE is supplier assessment to support sourcing council and flawless launch of new product PPAPs from current/new suppliers. In addition, ASQE is also required to support on critical issue escalated in plant.
RESPONSIBILITIES & AUTHORITY:
1. Schedule and perform supplier audit (PNSA) for potential supplier to support sourcing.
2. Review and schedule annual supplier audit plan for existing supplier development.
3. Per request from Dura plant or customer, schedule and perform process audit (VDA, CQI, etc.) for required suppliers.
4. Handle critical issues or critical suppliers per escalation process.
5. Lead supplier project management per APQP.
6. Lead and resolve supplier quality issue during project phase until flawless launch (SOP+90 days).
7. Support oversea plant by requested.
8. Other tasks assigned by manager.
REQUIREMENTS:
? Knowledge of quality standards such as ISO/TS 16949, VDA 6.3
? Good knowledge and experience with Quality Management tools such as APQP, PPAP, Problem Resolving Tools, etc.
? Excellent communication, presentation and interpersonal skills
? Good English skill in spoken and written
? Able to attend global conference call meeting or go to meeting
? Able to travel up to 50%
EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE:
? Bachelor degree in Mechanical/ Industrial Engineering or related technical field.
? Strong background in EE or Anodizing area, familiar with related process.
? At minimum 8 Years’ experience in Quality including 5 years in Supplier Quality for Automotive Industry. OEM or Global tier 1 experience is preferred.
