Position Summary:
Responsible for the overall organization of X-Ray Product Installation and Training activities in support of the Codonics China Team. This includes coordination of activities between our sales partners, vendors, and Codonics departments including engineering and manufacturing. As the in-country leader, the incumbent will be the liaison between Codonics service world wide and our Chinese vendor(s) and act as the customer advocate defining product enhancements and improvements. This position requires ability, knowledge, and experience in the X-Ray market, ability to demonstrate equipment, field customer problems and complaints, train partners and customers on set up and liaison between sales, service, engineering and manufacturing. Up to 50% travel is required. Active Visa and Passport required. The ideal candidate is a self-starter and possesses demonstrable X-Ray support and installation experience, proven project managerial skills, excellent oral and written communication skills and is customer focused.
Duties and Responsibilities:
? Manage all project administrative activities for multiple simultaneous X-Ray product installations
? Communicate with key Chinese vendor(s) with regard to domestic and international service, support and installation issues. Track open issues and drive closure with vendor(s).
? Communicate project plans and status at appropriate intervals to key stakeholders which may include: Hospital project staff, Codonics business partners, Codonics Sales staff, Codonics Technical Services team
? Play a significant role in the development of the customer’s technical ability and increasing customer satisfaction through the delivery of coaching/training webinars
? Lead the installation and training efforts for the team
? Keep support, installation and training material up to date
? Relay customer feedback in terms of quality, enhancement requests, etc.
? Represent Codonics Technical Services as a product expert to: Codonics business partners, End users and Codonics constituency including sales team, service, engineering and manufacturing
? Develop and maintain a future market requirements document and product roadmap for the X-Ray product lines.
? Provide weekly/monthly status reports headquarters for new product introductions and implementation activities within China.
? Work closely with Service and Support Manager, China on day-to-day service issues for assigned products.
? Develop and manage alpha and beta test plans as required.
? Other duties as assigned.
Skills:
Required:
? Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills
? Current experience in developing, implementing and maintaining procedures and applications for assisting customers
? Strong technical aptitude
? Knowledge in software applications (Required: Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook) as well as the integration of medical systems including PACS, X-Ray systems, HIS, RIS and/or EMR,
? Comfortable with Microsoft, Linux and Apple operating systems
? Demonstrated in-depth problem solving and analysis skills and an ability to see projects through to full completion with minimal guidance.
? Proven self management and supervisory skills
? Exceptional patience and ability to train others
? Broad business acumen and ability to represent the company with in-depth knowledge and professional appearance
Qualifications:
? Bachelor degree in related field is desired.
? Ability to travel up to 50%.
? 2+ years of experience in a leadership role in a related field is required.
? X-ray systems sales, support and/or clinical experience.
? English speaking and writing skills is required.
