Job summary:

To ensure chemical process (plating lines, water treatment ) to be running as normal.

To be in charge of the management of the laboratory operation.



Duties and Responsibilities:

1 To be in charge of the chemicals supply, inventory and management;

2 To be in charge of the chemicals consumption follow up and the monthly report;

3 To implement chemistry cost reduction programs;

4 To write laboratory and waste station procedures;

5 To be in charge of the control the lab equipment (calibration, maintenance) and communication with the suppliers;

6 To support on the chemical baths analysis;

7 To be in charge of the house keeping of the lab;

8 To be in charge of the communication with the government Environmental Protection Bureau (EPB) and PSB (Public Security Bureau);

9 To train the laboratory and water treatment plant technicians.


Authority:

To stop any production and operation which should have a risk on the employees'health or a non-conformal impact on the environment.


Preferred Qualifications:

1 good knowledge in chemistry;

2 good command in English (reading, writing, speaking);

3 education: chemical engineering or related;

4 working experience:

- above 5 years related work experience in a plating laboratory and technical know-how

- familiar with laboratory equipment (AA, UV, titration methods etc.)

- related ISO 9000 and TS16949 know-how
