职位描述
Key responsibilities:
1. Customer satisfaction
- To respond to customer requirements about new products and engineering changes
- To lead the use the Quality Planning to ensure on time to market and robust products
2. Growth
- To participate in the new sales growth based on innovative new products
- To coordinate all development through Growth Track and the Project Prioritization Process
3. Market leadership
- To transfer best practices from other plants or external companies in order to improve the plant technology
- Transfer global products to local products or modify global products to meet market demands
- Leader of the Forward Quality Planning initiative across the plant.
4. Value Creation
- To be involved in GPS activities
- To lead saving projects based on : new and alternates materials, new processes and changes to current processes, suppliers development
- Lead new customer initiatives
5. Citizenship
- To participate on Tomkins HSE Excellence program as required
- To conduct analysis of HSE impact of new material and processes
6. People development
- To participate in company training as required
- To meet career plan for GPS and for the position
- To provide training in product application to customers and to associates.
7. Other tasks assigned by Technical Director.
Key objective in 2012
1. Gain knowledge of current manufacturing capacities and capabilities.
2. Familiarize with current product portfolio and product gaps.
3. Identify and hire key development engineers.
4. Bring to market the following products:
a. Water Blast
b. Large Diameter Spiral
c. High temp wire braid
d. JIS coupling line
Key requirement:
1. Good skills in communication with customer and other department.
2. University degree in Mechanical/Rubber/Plastic Engineering.
3. Direct experience in hose and/or coupling manufacturing
4. Fluent in English
5. TS-16949/ISO-9001 knowledge
6. 6-10 years working experience with minimum 2 years at managerial position
