Position Summary:

Regularly procurement and timely delivery of all materials and services required to satisfy manufacturing schedules, Laboratory, Office and Manufacturing Tool and Supply inventories; maintain optimum operating condition and provide repairs as needed to all plant manufacturing and office equipment, building mechanical systems, structural integrity and facilities grounds maintenance consistent with corporate quality standards, cost objectives and customer expectations.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. General handling of Purchasing/ Facilities Operations.

2. Assists authorized personnel in assuring optimum supplier maintenance and selection.

3. Maintains service contracts, contacts and/or schedules for timely maintenance and repair of plant and facilities equipment.

4. Assists Production Planning Department with materials management.

5. Strives to achieve complete and on time supplier deliveries.

6. Updates suppliers and computer files with Engineering and Quality Revisions.

7. Assists on new and substitute raw materials qualification documents.

8. Strives to secure alternate sources of suppliers for goods and services.

9. Assists on facilities and grounds maintenance directives and/or schedules.

10. Other Duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS:

EDUCATION

Bachelor Degree in Business or Chemistry preferred

EXPERIENCE/Skills

1+ experience in procurement function

Good people skills, Self-motivated, independent performer with communication /computer skills

Good communication skills in both written and verbal English.
