Supply Chain Specialist

1.岗位设立的目的及目标 / PRIMARY PURPOSE AND OVERALL OBJECTIVE OF THE JOB

As the Supply Chain Specialist you are the central coordinator between our customer service, the 3PL partner (warehouse) and our supplying plants (mainly Belgium and Malaysia).
The main objective is to maximize the service to our customers while keeping costs and inventory levels under control.

2.主要职责 / MAIN ACCOUNTABILITIES

1) Close follow up of and cooperation with the 3PL partner to assure efficient and reliable operations: import / inbound / storage / pick & pack.
2) Material planning and procurement: placing the necessary orders to replenish inventory, based upon the forecast provided by sales, anticipating promotions, etc.

3) IT system: you act as a specialist in the used ERP system (IFS), to support the daily administration done by customer service and the 3PL, to generate reports for local & HQ management and for own use.

4) Master data: you collect, upload and maintain the necessary information needed as master data in the ERP

5) Problem solving & continuous improvement: as a supply chain professional you are able to resolve issues on the one hand and to implement structural improvements on the other.

6) Stock hygiene: frequent monitoring of the stocks on hand and taking action for slow moving and/or obsolete stocks: reduce or avoid new replenishment, organize sell out initiatives with sales, …

7) Local sourcing: the regular products are sourced from our plants in Belgium and Malaysia. Extra marketing
materials (e.g. display stands and samples, brochures etc.) are also part of the scope. The majority is also sourced from abroad, but for some it makes sense to source locally, especially when the volumes go up over time. You work together with the local marketing team to understand the needs and the sourcing specialists in HQ .


3.知识、语言和经验要求 / KNOWLEDGE, LANGUAGE AND EXPERIENCE


? 2-3 years of relevant working experience in Purchasing/Inventory/Material & Warehouse Management or equivalent;
? Bachelor degree, major in international business, logistics or shipping preferred;
? Familiar with customs import regulations
? Be willing to take responsibility, focus on detail and has strong team spirit;
? Fluent in English bother written and oral， CET 6 is a must;
