职位描述：
Ship’s plan approval is one of the major tasks to ensure that the ship design satisfies the requirements of the rules, conventions, regulations and the flag states. Plan approval is an important link in the ship survey chain, constituting the fountainhead of ship safety and the significant basis of field survey.
Principal tasks
1.Perform activities mainly relevant to plan review for safety system according to class and statutory requirements relevant to Fire Protection, Detection and Extinction, Life-saving, etc.
Engineer activities will be also relevant to equipment’s and systems certification.
2.Give technical support to clients;
3.Work closely with excellence technical sectors of RINA and with field surveyors and clients on specific projects;
4.Lecturing in internal and external seminars;
5.Internal and external training.
Education and Professional Qualifications
1. Bachelor’s Degree or above in Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent Diploma;
2. At least 10 years professional experience in the similar or related businesses ship electrical field.
3. Good cooperation and communication skills both with internal and external clients
4. Good knowledge of and familiarity with IACS Class Rules and most common International Conventions and Codes (SOLAS, LSA, FSS, etc.…) as well as the typical installation on ship designs
5. Previous professional experiences of plan approval engineer in Classification Societies would be highly preferred.

 1. Team worker, yet also accustomed to working independently and under pressure;
 2. Problem solving and client oriented attitude;
 3. MS Office skills;
 4. Good command of English, both spoken and written.
