The company
MX Media Group is the largest media outlet in China focusing on outbound investment and offshore wealth management, publishing a series of journals and websites as well as running some of the largest finance conferences and events in Asia. Based in Shanghai, our client base is made up of international financial institutions, law firms, private banks, corporate service providers, global enterprises and governments from all over the world looking to promote their jurisdictions, services and projects to Chinese corporate and private investors.

The role
We are growing quickly and are looking for a dynamic, enthusiastic Deputy Sales Director to handle existing accounts, develop new accounts and further build the sales team in a fun, competitive environment. The candidate will be expected to build relationships through telephone, email and face to face with clients both in China and around the world, meaning there is potential for international travel, with the objective of selling multimedia advertising and investor acquisition services via our established print, online and events platforms. The client relationships will be managed by the candidate from inception right through the sales cycle and beyond using a series of cutting edge CRM tools. The role is target based with a competitive basic salary and extremely attractive uncapped commission package.

The candidate
The chosen applicant will be based in Shanghai and speak good English, with a solid sales management background and proven ability to deliver results. The candidate will be a team player who thrives under pressure and can think outside the box to deliver creative solutions within our existing product lines to clients and expand revenue channels is essential. Additional language skills are a plus, as is the flexibility to travel and work outside regular office hours if required due to international time differences. Good time management and impeccable personal presentation are prerequisites.?
