DESCRIPTION/RESPONSIBILITIES:
Job Description
The candidate shall be familiar with UMTS/W-CDMA/HSPA+ and/or LTE/LTE
Advanced network technologies. This position involves evaluating,
designing and implementing different layers of cellular protocols. The
candidate needs to be comfortable working in both lab and live network
environment. Experience in handling RF equipment, script, and
automation is a plus. Prior experience working on Qualcomm, MTK or
other chipsets is desire.
* Masters or above in relevant field of study
* At least 5 years of direct experience in Protocol software
development involving UMTS/W-CDMA/HSPA+ and/or LTE/LTE Advanced network
technologies
* Strong mobile/cellular systems knowledge in LTE, LTE Advanced and
UMTS/HSPA
* Familiar with 3GPP standards
* Experience in IP, Telephony, IMS is needed
* Understanding of memory management including overlays, buffering, DMA
access, bus latency and internal memory assignment, threads, thread
priorities, ISRs
* Experience using test equipment, debugging, logging and simulation
tools
* Experience in modem log analysis, field performance issue
investigation and call performance
