*Position Description
? Support the supplier matrix & manage the sourcing of product throughout the region. Identify areas of opportunity
? Identify Suppliers/factories in region that have capability to deliver cost competitive and quality product.
? Support production commitments with suppliers, ensuring objectives of product quality, delivery and price are met or exceeded.
? Develop best practices and process for exceptional results.
? Drive regional initiatives in line with the Global Sourcing Strategy
? Look for opportunities for continuous improvement within the business & emphasize implementation.
? Lead the Sourcing team to collaborate with cross functional teams (Quality, Responsible Sourcing and Compliance) to ensure the factory-base is fully compliant with all Walmart requirements.

? Contribute to the development of department sourcing strategies.
? Drive execution of multiple category sourcing strategies and projects
? Conduct regular supplier assessments and identify areas of opportunity or concern
? Develop and guide suppliers to improve their capability to deliver value-add options such as sales analysis, replenishment capabilities, product development and market intelligence
? Oversee and manage the seasonal quotation process and component costing (CCS). Effectively negotiate product and price, and determine creative alternatives to achieve objectives.
? Understand trade and political issues and incorporate into sourcing decisions. Reduce risk.
? Ensure that processes are executed in a timely manner and tradeoff options are considered to drive continual merchandise purchases and profits.
? Work with relevant parties to realize and update all claims and coops related info.
? Assume additional responsibilities and performs special projects as needed or directed

*Minimum Qualifications
? Regional or global experience in sourcing the product categories.
? Able to manage within a global sourcing organization and build ownership and teamwork.
? Deep product manufacturing and supply chain knowledge in Apparel
? Driven and motivated. Inspires others. Approachable
? Strategic leadership, planning and thinking skills
? Cost negotiation experience
? Experience in assessing supplier capabilities & capacity
? Experience with working in a cross-functional team environment.
? Relationship builder – internal and external
? Strong analytical skills and ability to communicate
? Team player who always works respectfully with associates and suppliers from different cultures.
? Able to work under pressure. Takes ownership. Manages change well
