Job Purpose:
? New position for China specialty seats business development.
? In the recent 6-12 months, focus on aero seat business opportunities.
? For long term, looking forward, identify and carry out new business chance for specialty seats in China.
? Business will be focus on China.
? Revenue is forecasted to be 100M USD (aero seat) in China as part of the 1B specialty seats target of Adient group.
? Target customer will be aircraft manufactures, airline companies and aircraft leasing companies.

Responsibilities:
? Responsible for business development of specialty seat in China region. Ensure that growth objectives are achieved according to agreed goals and in line with the company’s goal and approved budget.
? Responsible for aero seat market entry opportunities identification. Including customer and partner choosing, M&A opportunities identifying.
? Responsible for establish close relationship to potential stakeholders, including but not limited by China aviation & aircraft department, AVIC group, airline companies, cooperation partners, core suppliers, etc. Work as a window person to manage and solve related problems within quick response, sincere attitude & proper manner and politeness.
? Responsible for China aero seat market strategy. Continuous monitoring and analysis of the business performance of the customer in all China market. Company target is to be the biggest aero seat supplier in China. In the same time, ensure China strategy is on the same track with global by closely working with global specialty seating team.
? Drives aero seat product plan/ backlog commitments. Establish targets and roadmaps to achieve overall revenue growth.
? Supporting Chinese manufactured aircraft seats’ FAA & EASA certification application work. Especially, manage the requests from Boeing & Airbus in the process.
? Supporting to new aero seat plants/companies erection. Including but not limited by government relations, land auction, building erection, etc.
? Supporting aero exhibition together with communication team.
? Continuously identifies other new markets/trends and defines roadmap based on business strategic plans.
? Develop, manage, and nurture new business accounts and partnerships to accomplish profit and volume goals.


Requirements:
? MBA or equivalent degree in Business Administration or Mechanical / Automobile Engineering
? Seasoned professional with approximately 12-15 years of BD and marketing, preferably in the aircraft market. At least 5 years must be in a management position with P&L responsibility.
? Knowledge about Chinese aircraft market, understanding the operation model of aircraft components business.
? Knowledge about market intelligence methods and tools.
? Strong communication and PPT skill, fluent English and mandarin verbal & written skill.
? Superior communication and negotiation skill is required.
? 10-15 years JV working experience, deeply understanding JV operation model and skillful partner management ability.
? Familiar with government background company culture, skillful government communication ability. Working background or strong relationship with AVIC, airlines or Dongfeng group (Xiangyang region) is favorable.
? Able to solve problems dependable within strong team work awareness.
? A flexible and result oriented manager, with good business sense, marketing flair, and appreciates the big picture, yet is hands on and can build from scratch.
? Must be willing and able to travel over 50% of the time both domestically and internationally.
