ABOUT THE JOB
IKEA IMS China (IKEA Indirect Material & Services) is a young company within the IKEA Group. The purpose of IKEA IMS is to co-ordinate all purchases of indirect material and services.

YOUR ASSIGNMENT
Your tasks will include:
? To book and arrange transports from IKEA IMS Warehouse and/or suppliers, based on placed orders and defined schedules by using existing agreements between IKEA IMS and external transport providers.
? To strive towards optimized transports in the best possible way
? Be responsible for issuing the required documents (CMR, Invoice, Certificate etc.)for the specific transport, based on pre defined rules for each country
? Regularly do follow up on transport to secure agreed level of performance and cost
? Work closely with suppliers to provide necessary information, training and working methods to secure that suppliers are constantly improving their performance.
? Coordinate and support import process in China with providing declaration elements, certificates and documents
? Monitor overseas supplier payment to fulfill Chinese regulation
? Match and review carriers and forwarders’ invoices towards to each shipment
? Take responsibility for the constant development to find the most efficient ways of working including cooperation with colleagues in other functions and sites.
? Contribute to decision regarding best distribution setup and setup optimization with article and business knowledge.

YOUR PROFILE
Your knowledge, skills and experience include:
? Good knowledge of order and distribution systems
? Good knowledge and experience in working with basic data and communication tools such as Microsoft Excel, Adobe etc.
? Good knowledge of the conditions at the Transport market.
? Since your work is on a global area, you have knowledge and experience of how to cooperate and work with people from different backgrounds and cultures
? Good knowledge of cost drivers within transport
? Good overview of customs impact on Transport
? International trade experience is an advantage
? Proactive and responsible
? Good communication skill both in English and Chinese
