The Business
At Willis Towers Watson Investment, we advise large institutional investors, such as government funds, insurers and endowments on their long-term investment strategies. Collectively our global clients manage more than $2 trillion in assets. Our clients typically invest in a portfolio of diverse, global investments with the ultimate goal of generating long-term real returns at a rate sufficient to meet their stakeholders’ requirements. We add value by developing tailored investment solutions for our clients who are expected to meet these return objectives, but importantly, also take into account each client’s tolerance for investment risk, complexity, fee budgets and any other specific requirements. From idea, to innovative research to careful analysis and capable execution, we partner with our clients to give them a competitive edge.


The Role
As a Senior Investment Analyst or an Investment Consultant, you can expect to carry out research and modelling, analyse the results, and prepare client reports. As your career progresses, your duties may include some or all of the following:
? Preparing research reports on recommended fund managers within each asset class
? Performance monitoring and reporting
? Writing up quarterly economic reports
? Analyzing risk and return characteristics of different asset classes
? Using financial models to create tailored investment portfolios for clients
? Supporting senior team members in the construction and delivery of investment analysis, reports and presentations to clients
? Research investment managers and debate and form views on them
? Developing relationships with client contacts through effective communication and efficient, quality execution of projects
? Building strong relationships internally and collaborating effectively on cross-functional team


The final title and level of the associate will depend on the requirements he/she possesses.

 
The Requirements

General Requirements
? Bachelor’s degree majoring in Actuarial Studies, commerce, finance, business or economics
? 3-8 years related working experience
? Excellent Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel
? Strong written and verbal communication skills in Chinese and English
? Well Organised and detail oriented
? Time management skills and an ability to effectively prioritize tasks
? People-orientated with strong interpersonal skills


Specific Requirements
