Role

The candidate, to be based in Shanghai, would join us as an Associate with opportunity to grow.

Key tasks and responsibilities:

? Research & Analysis: Drive the articulation, scoping and prioritization of research and analysis needs, identifying and gathering relevant information via primary (e.g.: interview) and secondary (e.g.: internet and database) research. Drive team analysis and application of suitable frameworks.
? Project Management: Lead consulting project teams day-to-day, and contribute significant input into project design and methodologies. Take on responsibility for key parts of the business.
? Preparing Reports: Synthesise, often substantial, quantities of information into comprehensive insight-led reports (mostly in English). Develop strategy PowerPoint decks, and other types of customer deliverables.
? Business Development: Assist partners in business development and new client origination. A critical part of this role, developing skills for further career development and helping the business grow.
? Other Tasks: Other tasks assigned as required.


Requirements

? Leadership Skills: Proven track record of having successfully lead teams and projects.
? Good Analytical and Presentation Skills: Proven track record of carrying-out qualitative and quantitative analysis and presenting information in oral or written English. Able to apply analytical frameworks, define methodologies to obtain data, analyse it, and present it in a simple but insightful way.
? Strong Languages: Advanced or fluent in speaking, reading and writing both Mandarin Chinese and English. Other major European and Asian languages a bonus. Experience of having lived overseas preferred.
? Outstanding Academic Background: University graduate with outstanding academic results, ideally from a top university. All degrees considered but the following preferred: English (as a second language), Chinese (as a second language), Maths, Economics, the sciences, Engineering, Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, Journalism etc.
? Minimum 3-5 years work experience: Prior consulting, investment banking, market research or corporate experience. For candidates with a corporate background, profiles in strategy, business development, corporate development, general management, market research and product management preferred.
? Business Development Aptitude: Track record of business development and commercial skills preferred or demonstrated aptitude.
? Outstanding Communication Skills: Comfortable communicating with senior executives. Proven experience preferred.
? Good Problem-solving Skills: Demonstrated skills and clear enjoyment of solving complex problems. Ability to balance details with the big picture. Pragmatic.
? Strong Performer: Positive, responsible, mature attitude; good team player. Proactive self-starter, must work well under pressure and be flexible embracing change. Fast learner, hard worker and committed to improving yourself and your company.
? Chinese nationals and foreigners welcome: Candidates in China originating from China and from all over the world will be considered equally as long as their Mandarin Chinese and English language proficiency meet our requirements. 举报 分享
