JOB DESCRIPTION
Job Title: IT BRM Manager
Reports to: China IT Operation Manager
Location: Shanghai
Business Unit: Adient
Subordinate: 0

Job Purpose:
The person in this position will report to China IT operation Manager. Key responsibilities will support IT BRM Manager to work on business requirements and projects with JV business partners and local IT teams, as well as connect to the service delivery teams to better shaping their service capability and project executions.

Responsibilities:
  1. Build and maintain partnership with JV business stakeholders and IT team, gain trust to ensure flawless communication and cooperation.
  2. To be engaged in the business planning, operation status review and program launch activities such as LRR, to give update or collect feedback from IT perspective.
  3. Lead business requirements collection, demand shaping and project initiation for specific projects in the JVs. Monitoring open project status during implementation and provide advisory service when project under risk.
  4. Support in the IT compliance program, in terms of identifying risks, performing testing, developing reports and recommending enhancements to the performance, integrity, and compliance of the organization’s IT processes, by closely working with Adient compliance team and respective JV side.
  5. Support JV IT team to develop new site launch milestones, schedule and financial plan, and engaged in governance meetings to provide support as necessary.
  6. Support JV IT talent development.


Requirement:
  1. Bachelor degree in Information Technology / Software, or Industry Engineering.
  2. At least 8 years of functional experience in business applications and IT operation management.
  3. Knowledge of enterprise infrastructure and operation, experience in plant IT project is a plus.
  4. Proven project management experience in implementation of business applications in manufacturing operations. Strong preference for experience in automotive parts manufacturing. PMP/Price 2 certificate as a plus.
  5. Decisive leadership with ability to drive multi-functional business teams in resolving conflict, achieving consensus and reaching timely agreement on common best practices and solutions.
  6. Experience in IT compliance and control.
  7. Have knowledge on QAD systems is a plus.
  8. Good communication and interpersonal skills, basic experience / knowledge of cross function business / office process management.
  9. Be self-motivated and quick learner, excellent team player with strong influencing skills.
  10. Good written and oral communication skills in English and Chinese.
