Position Statement
This is a Shanghai-based management position responsible for the operations of moving and warehousing services throughout mainland China, or so directed, reporting into the customer service manager of Relocations – China.

Key Tasks and Responsibilities
? Pro-active profit enhancement within the operational area
? Putting the customer at the center of service delivery
? Training, motivation, discipline and control of all China operational staff
? The efficient running of all operational aspects of Relocations in China
? Management of the warehouse and storage facilities throughout China, to ensure the safety of customer and company property
? To ensure that the company meets its legal obligations in relation to the operational activities of Relocations in China in meeting customer requirements.
? To ensure the day to day operational schedules are properly managed and jobs optimally staffed.
? Develop new partnerships and maintain existing relationships with the focus on service quality, cost control, and efficiency of all China based operational service partners.
? Support the overall Operations team through managing all materials used in the warehouse operation.
? Maintain safe and clean warehouse environments and conduct regular audits of all China warehouses, owned or leased, to ensure the safety and condition of customer and company property. Ensure all available space is properly allocated and utilized.
? Efficient planning of resources to complete all loading, unloading and internal movement of shipments within all services (exports, imports, office, domestic and storage).
? Develop and promote the concept of shared enterprise resources of the operations staff across divisions.
? Ensure all warehouse operations staff are aware of and observe Crown’s published procedures and code of conduct.
? Work closely with management to ensure continuous improvement and best practices in all aspects of the warehouse relocations operation.
? Deploy e-Packing across China wide relocations operations.
? Ensure that all operational equipment is stocked, maintained and serviced accordingly.

Aptitude
? Excellent analytical, interpersonal and communication skills.
? Ability to set priorities, manage your time and workload and dependably meet strict deadlines.
? Ensure tasks are completed within timelines to a high degree of accuracy and professionalism.
? Confident can do attitude and a willingness to support stakeholders in effectively doing their job.
? Solution oriented approach to problem solving and decision making.

Professional Knowledge and Skills
? Knowledge of the safety and legal procedures for handling and receiving household and fine art goods
? Knowledge of the functionality of warehouse machinery and equipment, e.g. forklift
? Exceptional interpersonal skills and the ability to build collaborative relationships with multiple and diverse stakeholders.
? Strong implementation and organization capability, general flexibility regarding tasks and time
? Well-developed administration and organisation skills with strong attention to detail.
? Applicable computer skills with experience using Microsoft Office including Word, Excel.
? Strong verbal and written communication and presentation skills.
? Cultural sensitivity and awareness.

Qualifications
? Languages: English (fluently), Mandarin (fluently)
? Over 5 years’ experience in moving services operations.
