Responsibilities:
- Conduct and implement EHS program under the group guidance to improve internal employees EHS behavior
- Facilitates process and provides technical and administrative leadership to ensure compliance with EHS regulations and requirement
- Continuously identifies, assesses, and reduces/eliminates EHS risk (including security)
- Establishes and maintains relationships with governmental authorities on matters of, environmental permits, submission of required reports, and maintenance of data
- Investigates incidents (including near misses, releases, and losses) and accidents to determine root causes and prepares/directs corrective action plans
- Plans to deal with emergency situations that could adversely impact the environment, employees, or the community
- Responsible for comprehensive understanding and implementation the new government legislation and regulation on environment
- Planning and implementing internal EHS audit program
- Organize and deliver EHS related training to ensure EHS performance
- Communicating and cooperating with other units and corporate functions to fulfill company's reporting requirements
Requirements:
- Bachelor or Master degree, manufacturing technology, mechanical or electrical engineering as major.
- Knowledge and experience on, ISO14001 and OHSAS 18001 as an asset.
- Experience from working with environmental, health and safety matters in similar or other industrial business, Experience in preparation environmental, health and safety rules and regulations.
- Experience from working with management systems (OHSAS 18001, ISO 14001 or integrated management system).
- Experience in working with environmental, health and safety legislative compliance, General IT experience at user level familiar with MS Office
- Fluent English and Chinese skills, both verbal and written
- Willingness to commit to achieve company goals and wide long-perspective personal development attitude are the first prerequisites
- Good, analytical decision making and problem solving skills are mandatory requirements, as well as ability to quickly adapt to changing situations and work under pressure of them
- Results oriented management capability and understanding of wider perspective to see ones' own contribution from the viewpoint of the whole is needed on successful performance
