What you'll do:
Key contributor in Cloud services organization to take care of our all aspects of components in the data analytics platform.
Senior developer to support big data analytics.
Creative/innovative to expand the data analytics platform while looking into new open source project based on Hadoop.
Hadoop ecosystem administration.
Who you'll work with:
The Cloud Collaboration Technology Group (CCTG) is a one-billion dollar ($1B) business unit that develops primarily cloud based collaboration software solutions, and is an integral part of the $4.4B Collaboration portfolio at Cisco, which is investing heavily to transform the future of collaboration experiences for our end users.
CCTG’s vision is to be the recognized industry leader in the Cloud Collaboration market as well as to be the industry spotlight that attracts top talent. Our strategy is to sustain innovation in our current $1B product line, and to develop innovative new products for the future that expand and disrupt the market to stay competitive. We will do all of this, and build a next generation cloud platform with APIs and an ecosystem that deliver tangible business outcomes enabling our customers to get more jobs done!
Our team is focused on collaboration application data analytics platform to improve the SaaS quality and marketing extension, to build the data-driven business decision maturity.
Who you are:
A. Must-have skill/experiences
Strong in Python and Java programming.
Experienced in Spark programming.
Experienced in popular algorithms of machine learning.
Deep understanding of distributed computing.
Strong understanding of Hadoop ecosystem.
Excellent ability in data analytics and strong skills to resolve big data computing problem.
Self-driven and motivated employee.
Good presentation skill for solution and architecture.
Excellent interpersonal and teamwork skills.
Ability and desire to work in agile, collaborative and iterative programming environment.
B. Good to have skill/experiences
Experienced in Scala programming
Expertise with AWS components
Expertise with collaboration data patterns
Spirit of researching new technologies in data analytics
C. Educational Background
Major in Computer Science or equivalent experience in general or above
3+ years’ experience in Java or Python programming
1+ years' experience in big data analytics
