Report to: Sales Manager
Job description
An IT sales professional's work falls into the four main areas of pre-sales, sales, project management, and customer relationship management: The role requires significant personal interaction with customers and SSBG Staff. A candidate should be focused, organized, and able to effectively communicate.
Pre-Sales:
- Locating and assessing Potential Customers,
- Communicating to understand their needs and what services your company can offer
Sales:
- Developing Solutions with the Consulting Team based on Corporate IT Best Practices.
- Creating system and service delivery proposals and selling them to the customer
Project Management:
- Coordinate delivery of services with SSBG Technical and Customer Service Departments.
- Manage the implementation process from Scope Definition to Handover
Customer Relationship Management:
- Develop mutually beneficial relationships with customers
Typical Work Activities:
* Identifying and developing new business through networking, cold calling, and professional events
* Communicating with a diverse multi-national customer base to understanding their specific business needs
* Develop clear and concise proposals for complex systems and IT Services
* Negotiating and closing mutually beneficial business arrangements with multinational clients across different industries
* Marketing and promoting a portfolio of products through designing sales literature, and attending industry events
* Maintaining awareness and keeping abreast of constantly changing business software and hardware systems
* Identifying opportunities for further sales and new areas of development through research into specific client industries
* Meeting Sales Targets set by managers and contributing to team targets
* Contributing to team or project meetings to update and inform colleagues
Job Requirements:
* Strong Chinese/English Verbal and Written Communication Skills. Other languages will be considered a plus
* Ability to persuade and influence others through 1 on 1 communication and the development & delivery of presentations.
* Comfortable with creating, composing, and editing written materials with Microsoft Office Software (Word, Excel, Visio)
* Willing to work to a flexible schedule to accomplish individual and team goals
* Able to maintain a professional appearance and provide a positive company image to the public
* Associate or Bachelors Degree
* Additional Sales, Customer Service, or Technical Certifications will be considered a plus
