POSITION: Civil/Structural/Architectural Manager

REPORTING TO: Project Manager

RESPONSIBILITIES: To manage and direct project personnel to achieve agreed time, cost and quality and safety standards for Civil/Structural/Architectural works on the project.


1.0 AREAS OF ACCOUNTABILITY:

1. Ensure Site Work Being Carried Out Safely.

2. Ensure Works Meeting Quality Requirements From Client, HCL And Local Regulations.

3. Ensure Work is Progressing According To The Schedule.

? By directing the daily progress of the work, determining whether subcontractors are providing sufficient work force and hours of work to achieve performance commitments;

? Participating in schedule reviews with the subcontractors and make sure the works are coordinated with other Disciplines. Make sure contractors issue schedules on time;

? Monitoring actual versus target or required performance by subcontractors, managing the contractor or system so that the work is started and completed at the correct time for the benefit of the whole schedule;

? Sequencing of work in the correct sequence is the first priority.

4. Responsible for field construction operations of Civil/Structural/Decoration works.

5. Prepares schedules, construction methods and procedures.

6. Supervises and directs subordinate personnel and craftsmen In construction activities within assigned area.

7. Prepares reports and forecasts, including summary of construction progress, job manpower forecasts, and expenditures forecast.

8. Monitors the activities of subcontractors to ensure compliance with specifications and schedules.

9. Responsible for the implementation of corporate/project policies, procedures and instructions within assigned operations.

10. Coordinates activities with other disciplines or areas, and clientsˇ representatives as instructed by Project Manager.

11. Prepares field change notices, extra work orders and back charge notices.

12. Provides Mentoring and Performs personnel evaluations on subordinate personnel.

2.0 PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATIONS

3.1 Bachelor Degree in Civil/Structural or Architectural Engineering;

3.2 Familiar with related local and National codes and standards

3.0 EXPEIRENCE REQUIREMENTS

3.1 Minimum 8 years working experience in site management and supervision experience;

3.2 Understand the project management procedure;

3.3 Able to prepare procurement documents and tender evaluation reports.

3.4 Proficient in Word, Excel, Auto CAD and Project.

3.5 Good command of English and communication skills
