Job description

Working closely with the design and sourcing team for all type of fabrics, you will be responsible for the complete technical analysis of the fabrics used in our company including provide support to our product development and for production team.

TASKS

？ Closely work with departments and designers in transforming technical interpretation from inspirational samples to bulk production
？ Analysis of the Fabric construction, Fabric contents, fabric weight & color analysis
？ Evaluate supplier capability and provide technical support to the vendors to achieve our standards.
？ Identify and tackle potential fabric and materials technical issues before bulk production
？ Keep abreast of market information / new technology applying to textile industry to improve supplier performance
？ Evaluate and monitor the performance of vendors / mills to ensure the fabric quality standard
？ Responsible for fabric technical requirements

REQUIREMENTS

？ 5-10 years work experience in Fabric technology, product development or fabric technical analysis in woven it/sweaters
？ Strong technical background in garment and woven it fabrics
？ Experience in working with leading fabric mills in China and elsewhere in Asia
？ Sound negotiation and interpersonal skills
