Position: Business & Data Analytics Expert
Work Location: Shanghai, China
Objectives
？ You will act as an internal consultant and trainer in the area of business and data analytics and will communicate the ideas and solutions to a broad community of non-data analysts.
？ Leading, executing and coordinating innovative business and data analytics projects are your main tasks.
？ You will initiate and develop customized solutions and liaise within the Global Business Analytics team as well as transfer innovative solutions from a piloting phase into an ongoing service delivery and improve operational excellence.
Main Tasks
？ Take responsibility, drive new developments, and work creatively on challenging and groundbreaking development tasks in accordance with the highest technical standards, plus a high level of commitment, team-spirit, flexibility, and initiative.
？ Transfer innovative solutions from a piloting phase into an ongoing service delivery and improve operational excellence.
？ Initiate and develop customization of business & data analytics solutions and liaise within the Global Business Analytics team and the global BASF community.
？ Mentor and coach other team members and support their functions by providing expertise and insights into BASF’s organization and projects.
？ Liaise with internal business and corporate units and translate their analytical needs into projects.
Requirements
？ Hold Master’s degree in Computer Science/ Data Science/ Information Systems or a Bachelor’s degree with additional years of relevant work experience.
？ Have working experience with databases and SQL, with SAP applications and Analytics tools like SAP HANA, with data warehousing, data management and Big Data technologies as well as lifecycle management of software solutions. Be able to write production level code. Have a deep understanding of one or more of the following areas: Hadoop (HDFS, MapReduce, Hive, Yarn, Flume, Storm), Spark, Kafka, ActiveMQ.
？ Have superior understanding of internal and external data needs in business processes and be able to communicate the ideas and solutions of statistical modelling to non-statisticians within the company.
？ Be creative and motivated team player with strong communication and presentation skills in English and Mandarin. Be used to work on a focused and results-oriented basis and have a consultancy mind-set and like working in a newly set-up team.
？ Be willing to travel up to 10% (including overseas). 举报 分享
