Position: Greater China IT Manager
Position: This is a key leadership role with responsibilities covering the IT function across the greater China region.
Scope of Responsibilities
? Bridge IT with business functions for the purpose of technology strategy planning, solution discovery, service management, risks and relationship management.
? Proactively identify and promote technology opportunities to build competitive advantage and improve efficiency and effectiveness of business processes.
? Partner with business leadership and other IT stakeholders to define opportunities and identify and prioritize projects.
? Drive and manage GC IT teams in executing new initiatives as well as optimizing ongoing operations
? Program or project manage key IT system implementation initiatives
? Understand market challenges, including customer priorities and competitive issues.
? Build and maintain relationships with regional and global IT teams
? Manage both local and regional vendors
Specific Responsibilities
? Proactive engagement with business leaders to understand ongoing business landscape and priorities
? Develop business technology roadmaps through collaboration with the global architecture teams and business stakeholders
? Effectively manage projects and initiatives to maximize the value impact on the organization.
? Collaborate with the Project Management Office on the intake process and prioritization of projects
? Collaborate with regional and global functional IT leads and align on strategic technology directions
? Provide strong leadership to the team in managing the IT delivery and operations
? Advocate the AGILE methodology to improve value creation and speed of solution delivery
? Collaborate with stakeholders to develop annual budgets for respective business areas
? Proactively manage internal and external IT service providers to drive continuous improvement of services
Requirements
? Minimum of 10 years relevant IT management experience
? Strong experience in managing a wide variety of IT including infrastructure, applications, operations, security, service desk etc.
? A motivated hands-on leader who is able to effectively guide the team when required
? Ability to effectively interact with all organizational levels in a multicultural matrix organization across multiple time zones
? Excellent interpersonal, communication and presentation skills with a strong command in English
? Good consulting and conflict management skills
? Proactive in identifying and anticipating customer needs and make relevant solution recommendations
? Work well as a team player and is also able to function independently with minimal supervision
? Strong end-to-end business process analysis capabilities with good understanding of SAP, Business Intelligence, Point of Sales, CRM, e-Commerce and other systems
? Strong application implementation and deployment life cycle
? Knowledge of Data analytics, Oracle and SQL Server Database, EDI, e-commerce and web security
? Relevant experience and good understanding of the AGILE methodology
? Strong project management skills
? Good understanding of Service management (ITIL) principles
? Excellent analytical skills and the ability to interpret data, identify trends and recommend effective solutions
? Experience in sourcing and managing a variety of vendors to meet contracted service levels
? Ability to effectively manage change, risks and issues
