General Summary

This position will report to the Sr. Application Engineer. Be responsible for application of engine/engine end products. Travel is maximum 50%.


Job Duties (Tasks, Responsibilities, etc.):

1. Assist OEM customers to apply B&S engines to various power equipments
2. Help OEM and dealers with product development, and warranty-related support.
3. Support the sales and business development activities of the B&S-Shanghai Office
4. Travel around the region to ensure product in field performance and durability (minimum travel required is 50%)


Knowledge, Skill and Ability Requirements:

1. Knowledge of gasoline engine industry and product applications.
2. Technical knowledge of power requirements and application testing for engine-powered equipment.
3. Hand-on ability to diagnose and troubleshoot application and service-related issues.
4. Excellent communication skills and interpersonal skills.
5. Ability to work effectively as a team player with diverse groups of people.
6. Willingness to work in rural settings
7. Working knowledge of computer software, such as MS Office.
8. Basic English language skills to read and write at least
9. Quality system experience preferred


Education Requirements:
(Degree and/or additional relevant training):

1. Bachelor or above on mechanical engineering or relevant subjects.

1. Minimum of 3-5 years work experience with engines, power equipment.
