Supply Chain Manager Greater China

Tasks:

1、Development of a China wide Category Purchase Strategy for raw materials.
2、Identify new suppliers/cheaper sources for raw materials/logistic services, etc.
3、Establish a reliable forecasting system to minimize inventories without sacrificing supply ability
4、Management of the logistics chain, including on- and off site warehouses
5、Monitor supply chain performance via KPIs
6、Managing strategic relationships with key suppliers and industry bodies.
7、Developing and maintaining documentation in support of key Supplier and Development initiatives.
8、Management of key project governance documentation for key Supplier and Development initiatives.
9、Provide support to the project board and checkpoints for Projects.
10、Represent the company in internal and external forums.
11、Supporting preparation of briefings and papers to COO global and President Greater China
12、Management of key risks
13、Involvement in a number of internal initiatives and working groups and making presentations to large audiences.

Qualifications

1、Bachelor degree and above, majoring in Chemical, Engineering etc.
2、A strong proven track-record in Supply Chain management or procurement, preferably in the chemical or coatings industry, more than 3 years in supervisory capacity.
3、A proven track-record in making a significant contribution towards developing and improving the procurement function.
4、Computer literacy using Microsoft Office products, such as, Word, Excel, Project and PowerPoint.
5、Good written and spoken English with good working computer skills
6、Program and Project Management:
l Leads the management of projects, defining project plans, managing reporting mechanisms and identifying and managing risks.
l Defines clear project or program outcomes as part of business case development, and reviews progress against them regularly.
7、Analysis and Use of Evidence:
l Uses a wide range of evidence from diverse sources to identify problems, understand them, and develop effective solutions.
l Understands the strengths and weaknesses of different kinds of evidence and data, and reflects this in decision-making.
8、Financial and Resource Management:
l Uses (or procures) financial and economic analysis to determine financial impact and develop effective plans
9、Leadership:
l Communicates the strategic vision clearly, adopts a corporate approach and inspires the team to achieve its goals.
l Authorizes and encourages the team to invest time to come up with improved ways of doing things.
