职位描述
A leading global manufacturer of high quality automotive upholstery leather, produce leather for more than 90 vehicles with luxury brands worldwide.
Job Descriptions:
Purchase Asian crust / wet blue / hides to support all global locations.
Lead/Participate the development of new Asian sources of crust / wet blue / hides to support all global locations.
Negotiate sales, and relevant commercial issues for all by-product/cutting scrap / whole hide rejects/obsolete hides.
1. Using global procurement processes, procure and manage hide buying strategy for crust / wet blue / hides in Asia.
2. Using global procurement processes, identify new raw/blue/crust hide sources in Asia to support global projects for low cost suppliers, and expanding customer base.
3. Partner with internal/external customers in the development of crust / wet blue / hide supply chain projects.
4. Develop, maintain, and report EOOS metrics for crust/wet blue/hide purchases and by-product sales. Maintain hide supplier rating systems, and weekly buy reporting.
5. Market research to include beef supply, exchange rates, cattle prices, export rates and quantities, hide prices, hide markets, global leather demands, and trade policies for Asia.
6. Lead and participate in meetings to support the execution of regional/global plans with global hide procurement and supplier selection strategies.
7. Develop and implement procurement strategies to support five year plan objectives.
8. Other duties as requested.
Qualifications:
1. Education to be in the following or a related area: buying of hides, selling of leather by-products
2. 5-10 Years leather industrial procurement experience
3. Computer skills, MS word, Excel, PowerPoint
4. Professional English
5. Excellent communication skills
