REPORTING TO Supply Chain Supervisor - Northeast Asia

BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THIS ROLE

This role is responsible for performing North East Asia logistics and customer supply chain operations. The role is an internal SAP resource to North East Asia supply chain group and is also a resource to Novus’ third party business partners, warehouses and freight forwarders. Compare freight rates to established operation rates and reconcile billed freight invoices. Maintain SAP freight cost tables. Coordinate and execute the export shipments from NEA warehouses in a timely manner according to the requirements in place and applicable policies/SOPs/rules to ensure compliance. Arrange replenishment transportation in China. Tracking and documenting shipment, delivery issues and carrier performance. Maintain close relation & communication with plants, inventory coordinator and the customer service team. Manage the Freight PO in SAP and arrange payment in an accurate and timely manner. This role will be the backup for China and Taiwan importing operations and other China local deliveries if required.


Key Responsibilities:

1. Operate the inter-com STO and intra-com STO destination in China, arrange delivery, tracking, export declaration and invoicing in SAP correctly and promptly.
2. Coordinate and execute the export shipments from NEA warehouses in a timely manner according to the requirements in place and applicable policies/SOPs/rules to ensure compliance.
3. Ensure that logistics service providers comply with established processes on operations requirement. Monitor Service providers' performance.
4. Supply safe, innovative, and cost effective supply chain service that provides 100% "right first time" delivery of products. Monitor in transit shipment status so as to ensure that sufficient inventory is maintained to support business.
5. Take appropriate action on damaged products during transportation. Find the root cause of delivery issues and take action to improve the process.
6. Issue freight PO upon requested, ensure service providers' invoices are promptly verified for approval so as to pay on time.
7. Maintain customer freight table in SAP.
8. Coordinate SAP issue through CA ticket request and working with ES&O.
9. Other duties as assigned by the Team Leader/Manager.

Requirements:

1. University bachelor degree of Supply chain, international transportation or logistics related
2. International Transportation, Import /Export trade and Customs regulations, SAP experience and Knowledge of Letter of Credit is preferred
3. 2-3 years’ experience in Multinational company of import/export, logistics related job
4. Good English communication in written and oral.
5. Good personality and communication skills
6. Experience with LE TMS user of SAP, Microsoft Excel and other basic business software applications
7. Proven skills for problem analysis, root cause determination, and solution development
