Qualifications:

1, Bachelor degree in technical or business field. MBA with an Operations focus preferred.

2, Certifications in Quality Engineering and Quality Auditing preferred. Six Sigma certification a plus.

3, Minimum 10 years leadership experience in a quality assurance/operations role in a high tech design and assembly operation required.

4, Experience leading development of an ISO compliant quality system required.

5, Good knowledge of ISO 9001 and 14001

6, Accurate working style

7, Fluent in English both speaking and writing

8, Willingness & ability to work diligently under pressure


Duties and Responsibilities:

1, Develop and maintain the site specific quality manual in compliance with ISO 9001:2008, ISO 14001 requirements as well as corporate quality programs. .

2, Provide Quality Management vision and leadership for the site. Promote a quality culture through benchmarking, quality tools training, coordination of specific performance improvement initiatives, and corporate wide recognition of success.

3, Establish key quality metrics, reports and reviews with executive staff and internal customer buy-in. Lead cross functional Quality Councils in review of critical customer issues, key business performance metrics, and corrective actions.

4, Coordinate cross functional continuous improvement initiatives in support of corporate and site operational performance objectives including reduction of Cost of Poor Quality.

5, Develop and maintain a site specific policy and procedure control system in alignment with corporate document control systems. Establish policies and procedures to ensure proper retention and control of quality records in product development, associate training, customer service, production, and shipping.

6, Ensure appropriate corrective actions are initiated, escalated, tracked, and resolved through all areas of the operation including customer complaints, production quality issues, product design control and supply quality issues.

7, Develop and implement an internal quality system audit program for compliance against ISO requirements in all aspects of the operation. Conduct appropriate audit reviews with executive staff and monitor/support resolution of audit findings.

8, Coordinate and implement appropriate shipping holds and/or field actions with support of affected teams, for critical quality issues. Coordinate cross functional identification and resolution of related corrective and preventative actions, and coordinate resolution communications with the affected customers.

9, Align with counterparts at other sites, to ensure efficient and effective quality plans are in place across sites for parts and products supplied through operations. Lead initiatives to reduce inspection, rework and other costs of poor quality incurred
