Major Responsibilities:
- Prepare piping material specifications and valve specifications (Pipe, Fitting and Valve, etc.) as per process data-sheets, include material selection and substitute together with specialist from Mechanical Integrity Department, thickness calculation, all components and valves dimensions and material constructions. Verify piping material specifications which been prepared by clients. Be able to develop piping specifications from first principals, ensuring the resulting specifications are fully compliance with all relevant clients, national and international standards;
- Coordinate with IT to develop the PDS/SPMat reference database, ensure the 3D model working smoothly and generating MTO correctly;
- Provide material reports as per internal / external requirements. Ensure all related MTO datum been entered into Material management system correctly and completely;
- Support the development of the project schedule and the execution of the project regarding material management matters;
- Continually monitor material requirements and deliveries, participate in the quality program to identify and correct known engineering defects to ensure quality and availability of material for each stage of project execution; as well to ensure schedule and costs are within plans; Prepare and issue MRs of the defined bulk material for enquiry, involve in technical clarification and issue technical bidding analyze, PO and for any subsequent revisions;
- Advising on inspection, maintenance and repair procedures;
- Efficient communication with and provide (or supervise) consulting to internal and external customers and working partners;
- Ability to deal with Engineering Procurement and Construction disciplines. Involve in vendor selection from technical point of view, communicate with Vendor regarding technical issues such as technical clarification, collecting qualified vendor information, maintain and update vendor list against market development;
- Fulfillment of project safety responsibility;
- Efficient and smooth project execution.

Requirements:
- Bachelor or above in Mechanical or Chemical Engineering or related with 3+ years as a material engineer with material management experience and piping specification generation; Familiar with GB, ANSI, DIN Standards; Fluent English;
- The expertise lies in understanding the properties of different materials; Familiar with metallic and non-metallic material, such as: ceramics; glass; chemicals; composites; metals; minerals; plastics; polymers; rubber; etc.
