Job Description—JDM/ODM Operation Manager
This is a JDM/ODM Operation Manager position for Enterprise Network Product. The candidate should have program management skills and certain technical background in order to drive JDM/ODM product development from concept to production. Responsibilities will include project planning, resource management, budget management, vendor management/driving, risk management, schedule management, quality management and stakeholder reporting, etc.
Responsibilities:
* Work out project plan with internal functional team and JDM/ODM vendor
* Track project status including resource/budget/risk/schedule/quality management in whole project lifecycle
* Report to different stakeholders in multiple project stages
* Solve problems and make quick decisions as project owner
* Work with JDM/ODM vendor and cross-functional global team in multiple time zones
* Actively drive JDM/ODM vendor to develop product from concept to mass production.
Required Qualification:
? The position requires closely working with numerous hardware, software, mechanical, thermal, signal integrity, manufacturing, and power supply engineers as well as outside vendors. Strong interpersonal skills are a must.
? Experience in project management with global cross functional team (hardware, software, product operations, marketing, JDM/ODM vendor etc.)
? Strong sense to find potential problems in project management.
? Good communication skills for upper-level management, project team management and JDM/OMD vendor management.
? Must be a self-motivated team player with good oral and written communication skills, and strong sense of ownership.
? BS/MS in Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience
? At least 4-yr experience in hardware project management
? Good oral/written English is a MUST
