KEY PURPOSE
The Digital Media Graphic Designer will design, implement and support creative and technical solutions to enhance online content and design for promotional campaigns for Altium and its products and services. This involves extending applications within the company's content management system (CMS) and developing front-end solutions that meet Altium's online publishing requirements in order to enhance the user experience through the website, online and print media.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND OUTCOMES
- Managing the expectations of management to ensure the success of projects.
- Working individually and collaboratively on marketing projects.
- Conceptualizing, designing and producing company collateral for print and web.
- Creating digital design collateral for Regional offices.
- Liaise with Regional Marketing Managers to produce design collateral in English, French, German,
Japanese and Chinese (via supplied translations)
- Developing and maintaining web content and implementing CMS.
- Animation of supplementary material used in online tutorials.
- Composition, post-production, render and compression of multimedia.
- Establish working relationships with a cross-section of people within the wider organisation.

ESSENTIAL CRITERIA

- Proven competence using:
HTML,
JavaScript programming.

- Proven competence in creating and developing design solutions using a combination of Adobe CS5 :
Photoshop,
InDesign,
Illustrator,
Acrobat Pro,
Dreamweaver,
After Effects,
Premier.
- A good understanding of web standards.
- Knowledge/general understanding of the components of a content management system.
- Well developed oral, written and interpersonal skills including the ability to document procedures and
prepare presentations.
- Above average level of English language and grammar proficiency.
- Demonstrated ability to engage in processes and/or actions that are results oriented.
- Demonstrated ability to use initiative within the work area.

Desirable criteria
- Mobile device design knowledge.
- HTML5
- Knowledge of print production standards.
- An understanding of the issues relating to the management of complex web projects.
- An understanding of Electronics Design
- Familiar with Word and Powerpoint desktop programs
