IT Support Specialist
Position Summary:
This position is responsible for taking ownership of the IT & Infrastructure operations in Altiums China region under the guidance of the Manager, IT & Infrastructure Sydney. This would include all desktop support, hardware and software support, maintaining facilities and assets as required providing all assistance and support necessary to allow the effective management of IT, infrastructure and facilities to support Altium globally.

Main Responsibilities:
1. Update and Manage Software and Provide Software Support
2. Account and Network Administration and Documentation
3. Provide Hardware Support
4. Provide Facilities/Assets Support and Maintenance
5. Manage implementation of projects, time and communications
6. Carry out On Call Duties for all Altium offices out side of normal business hours
7. Conduct Research and Planning, design and implement new technology, projects, systems, infrastructure and policies.
8. Travel to remote sites to manage office relocations, upgrades and implementations
9. Procurement: Maintain budgets, Procure all hardware, software, equipment, furniture and IT services required.
10. Suppliers and Vendors: Maintain and build relationships with suppliers and vendors as specified by Manager, IT and Infrastructure Including out sourced IT support for Satellite and regional offices.
11. Case management.

Requirements:
- 2-3 years relevant experience
-Sound technical knowledge and full understanding of all systems and infrastructure
- Experience in computer hardware/software and customer service is essential
- Extensive Project Management Skills
- Knowledge required:
Windows Operating Systems (Workstation and Server)
TCP/IP networking
Writing script and or code
Windows 2003 Server, Windows 2008 Server, Windows XP, Vista and Windows 7
