JD:
?Develop chosen partners into strategic suppliers by strengthening relationships and gaining intimate knowledge of their operational strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats.
?Identify, evaluate, and develop new potential partners to add value to the National Starch supply Chain.
?Support the wider agribusiness team in grower management during peak periods, such as planting and harvest seasons.
?Deliver continuous improvement in key KPIs for quality, productivity, yield, and safety (risk management) at wet mil tollers to deliver win-win solutions for both National Starch and our chosen partners.
?Understand best practices from the network of National Starch knowledge to apply to the storage, handling, and processing of waxy corn.
?Understand and evaluate complex supplier relationships to identify opportunities for improvement as well as make recommendations as to what suppliers can be trusted and developed.
?Maintain a close network with key internal functions production, sales, quality, engineering, and CSPI both at the China level as well as globally (engineering and production) to be able to focus and deliver on issues that add value to the business.
Requirements:
?Bachelor degree or higher in an applicable engineering field chemical engineering preferred
?Use of English competently in a variety of situations
?At least 3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment, supervision experience preferred
?Familiarity with agriculture and corn growing a plus but not necessary
?Familiarity with lean six sigma tools and techniques a plus
